Pivot to Digital
Finally, some good news.
I got a job! I’ll be joining the amazing folks over at Digital Extremes as their new Senior Video Creator. My long vacation comes to an end and my new adventure is one that comes full circle for me in a really interesting way. In addition to working at a company that’s responsible for a lot of game-changing titles, I’m beyond excited to get back to work and more excited to share it with you all out there. Just trust me, it’s gonna be incredible. Especially once I put a little of my sazón on it.
When I was a teenager, I distinctly remember spending countless hours staying up late downloading files of video game trailers so that I could remix them into my own fan-made trailers. This was long before the days of YouTube so I mostly just showed my friends whenever we hung out. It’s actually how I got started on my path into video.
All that hunger paid off because I find myself returning to a passion I used to enjoy as a kid and that’s quite the privilege. I’m immensely proud of the run I had in games media and wanted to just thank everyone out there who worked alongside me for the last five years who helped me in so many ways. I could’ve never imagined things unfolding like this so I’m truly grateful.
It’s been super real and I also have to thank everyone who supported me from our Optional days and seeing where that journey has taken me made all of those late nights and sacrifices entirely worth it. Your support has and will always mean the world to me.
If you’re curious about what I’ll be working on, there will be more revealed soon at The Game Awards so better believe I’ll be tuning in and watching right along side y’all. If you can’t wait, there was something announced at Tennocon earlier this year to hold you over. But for now, stay tuned!
Thanks again for joining me on this ride. Let’s talk soon. Be good to each other out there. <3
P.S. I did just get a new iPad so I will be kicking off some chat threads on here too so stay tuned and join in if ya get a chance. Topic suggestions are always welcome too!
